Though she will be greatly missed, we have the joy of knowing exactly where and who she is with. We celebrate her homecoming where Jesus was there to greet her and say to her, "Welcome home, well done my good and faithful daughter."

Spirit of Giving Parade of Toys Photo Gallery
The “Parade of Toys” is a free Christmas toy, hats, and glove distribution for kids. We were blessed to be able to successfully do the effort in Brighton, Co at low income housing developments in both 2018 and 2019. The “Parade of Toys” is organized and supported by Cardenas Ministries and a community collaborative group that includes Cardenas Ministries in partnership with area churches, businesses, and community and business organizations. We know that Christmas time can be financially challenging to parents and our goal is to lighten the financial load for members of our Brighton community with emphasis on those experiencing hardship. We couldn't do it without the caring, support, and participation of a lot of great people. We acknowledge and thank them.
We thank all those that participated and contributed to this worthwhile effort.

Welcome in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is with heavy hearts that Cardenas Ministries announces the passing of Mrs. Gloria Estrada. Gloria was the co-founder and leader of Cardenas Ministries and the matriarch of the Cardenas family, She is now home with the Lord.
We are grateful to work with partners who value grass roots community efforts to help those in need and bless others for their service. We thank our sponsors, community partners, and volunteers for your support and participation in the community outreach projects we have been blessed to offer or support.
Cardenas Ministries was founded by Gloria and her daughter Valerie Cardenas Soto. It has been a family affair and labor of love in God's service for all of concerned. Under Gloria's leadership and direction, our family has been blessed to initiate or be involved in various community giving projects that have served to minister and contribute to families and organizations in various areas of the Colorado Front Range. The ministry and the wonderful legacy that Gloria leaves now rests with her family under Valerie's leadership. Accordingly, we will continue forward as a proactive ministry and maintain our goal of offering provisional and prayer ministry, continue our community outreach efforts, and be available in helping meet needs in the community as the Lord leads.
Volunteers for 2024 projects are both welcome and encouraged to contact us and get involved as project volunteers. Your caring is appreciated and contact info is listed below.
