The inaugural Denver Pachuco Ball will be a concert dance in early 2026 and will feature a national Chicano Soul and Old School artist lineup. The night will also include a Zoot Suit and Lowrider/ Cholo fashion show by Original Suavecito and Sante Fe Nights of Denver, and Mi Gente Customs of Colorado Springs.
In the interest of making the event special and making a statement about Chicano unity, we are inviting producers of past, and present, Pachuco Ball events from Riverside and Fullerton, CA, and Albuquerque, NM. This includes our guest of Honor, Riverside, CA Superior Court Judge, host of Radio Aztlan, and producer of the Riverside Pachuco Ball, Brother Jorge Hernandez Aka Mr. Blue. Brother Jorge's Riverside Pachuco Ball is not only a celebrated Southern California tradition, but the annual event also supports the Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture. The Pachuco Ball is coming to Colorado. La Familia and our community partners approach this project with a vision and purpose of building a new Colorado Chicano tradition. We are proud to all come together to bring the Pachuco Ball to Colorado as both a unique cultural celebration as well as an education vehicle that tells a story of the resiliency and determination of Chicano spirit and pride.
